Over years of Institute, over years of intellectual quotient

Hi guys!...

              This is my last post...

I hope you like it

Education in the early years of adolescence can affect IQ (CI). These are the conclusions reached by a team from the University of Oslo after analyzing the test of intelligence that the Norwegian army realised the men fit for military service.

The CI of the generations with more years of schooling increased by 3.7 points, indicate the authors in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Scientists took the opportunity to study a reform that the Norwegian Government implemented in the 1960s and that increased in two years compulsory education. The analysis was carried out on data from two groups of different men: those who lived in towns where reform was applied at age 14, and those who "escaped" to it by their place of residence. Then analyzed the intelligence test the Norwegian army carried out to all children aged 19 fit for military service, and also the titles of studies completed at the age of 30.

Although the relationship between CI and formal education in previous studies had already shown, this type of work is difficult because previously it had failed to isolate the variables appropriately. It must not forget, either, that CI expresses the results of a test that evaluates cognitive abilities exclusively. Today, many psychologists insist that other factors such as emotional intelligence, play an important role in the professional success of people.

Tips for english exams or TOEFL

Hi!...
This week will be my last publications...

This day give you tips for aprovate your english exams!...

Tip 1... The key is the second speaker

Most of the time in the TOEFL the secon speaker si the one that gives the answer. It doesn't matter if you don't understand the fire part of the conversation. Just focus carefully no the second part and try to say it again in your head while you are reading the answers.

Tip 2... Active and passive answers

Often on the TOEFL test you will have to organize who is doing what in the passive voiced. In order to answer this  type of question you have to remember that if the speaker is using active voice the answer will probably be passive voice, and vice versa.

 Tip 3... Negatives

Often no the TOEFL, when a negative is used, the answer will be a positive sentence whit an opossite meaning.

Tip 4... Comparatives and negatives

When using a negative with a comparative, the meaning is very strong, or the meaning is a superlative.

Tip 5... Adjective clause connectors used as subjects

In this tip we are also using adjective clauses to describe nouns , except in this tip the connector works  as a connector and a subject at the same time. The connectors are; who (for people), which (for things), and that (for people and things).

Diagnose Alzhaimer's with a Tear

Diagnose Alzhaimer's with a Tear

This is the research project of the Centre for research in neurological diseases and the center of attention Integral Alzheimer León: Detect Alzheimer's disease through the tear protein TAU.

The possibility of using tears as a biomarker of the disease has been given by the hypothesis of the tear is related to the parasympathetic nervous system, specifically in respect of production and composition of proteins. Taking into account that the TAU protein has been a constant measurement in patients with Alzheimer's disease, could serve as excellent biomarker of the same.

The research will depart with a minimum of 30 people with various profiles: patients with mild cognitive impairment, patients with early-stage Alzheimer's and a group of control with healthy subjects. Then analyze different parameters of the patients then take a sample of tear through the test of Schirner, the test most often used to measure the tear volume.

Once done, researchers will evaluate the release mechanism of the aforementioned protein in the tear, and compare outcomes among individuals with dementia and dementia.
